The rants and ravings of Bob

Last night...I learned a very hard lesson, and a very expensive one. I was coming home from 2-4-1/gay.com chat party at Woodys. About 1 block before home, I stop at a light. The left turn arrow came on, and I started to go (straight). A 1 car behind me was a cop. And he promptly pulled me over. Normally, it wouldn't be a major issue, except I had a few drinks, I knew it, and he knew it. So, I am now the proud owner of my very own OWI! Yeah...not exactly a happy occasion. This little lesson will cost me about $700, and a suspended drivers license. I have no excuse for what I did, other than stupidity. I know better than that. I've spent the last 12 hours kicking myself for such a foolish mistake.

Basically, it went down pretty simply, they pulled me over, asked some questions, gave me the field sobriety test and then threw the cuffs on me and hauled me to the Wauwatosa police station. I ended up having to call my roomate a bunch of times to come pick me up.

It was the most humiliating experience of my life, and something I'll be paying for for a long time..
