The rants and ravings of Bob

Sunday begin slowly. Relaxed in the hotel room. Chris spent the night (nothing happened). We got up around noon-ish, did breakfast at Waffle House. After that we headed to Chris' apartment to go swimming for awhile. That was sooooo relaxing. Especially after being in the heat all day Saturday. After the movie we watched He's Not Just That Into You.

We headed back to the hotel after that for a bit, had dinner, then went to meet Michael, a friend of Eric's. We watched Milk there.. Awesome movie. I never really knew much about what Harvey Milk did, and learned alot from that. We spent the rest of the night talking and drinking some beers.

Everyone I've meet here has been so nice and friendly. Michael is a awesome guy, very nice and sweet. While I was at Pride on Saturday watching one of the performances, a guy turned around and chatted me up a bit, welcomed me to Nashville, etc. I thought that was just so sweet, you usually don't see that kind of thing in Milwaukee, there truly is such a thing as Southern Hospitality.

More and more, I'm thinking of moving here. That was part of my plan for vacationing here. To see how much I like it, how comfortable I feel here. I feel very comfortable, and I really do like it here. I got to check on some things with work and how that'll pan out, but there is a good chance that in a few months, I'll call Nashville home.

But, I've gotten off track. today was a light day. Eric and I drove around a bit and saw some of the scenery around Antioch and Brentwood. Tomorrow the plan is to see the zoo, and downtown areas, like Music Row, and Centenial Park.

Well thats all for now.. Gonna relax and watch some TV. More updates and some pics will be posted tomorrow
